Online shopping and checkout

When you shop, we process your cart contents, selected colors and size, personalized text, contact and shipping details, order and payment status, and messages about your order. We use this information to take payment, make and deliver your products, provide support, and maintain required business records.

Shopify hosts our checkout and processes order information. Shopify and its payment providers handle payment details; our website does not store your full payment-card number. Shopify may also process technical and device information and use cookies or similar technologies to operate checkout, prevent fraud, and provide its services. See Shopify’s consumer privacy policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers for its processing.

Our website saves your cart, customization choices, and checkout references in this browser’s local storage so they remain available when you return. Clearing this site’s browser data removes that saved cart. Shopping or placing an order does not automatically subscribe you to marketing email or SMS.

We share information needed for fulfillment with shipping providers. We keep order records as needed for fulfillment, support, legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Contact info@the1961supply.com to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to records we must retain.

Coming-soon email updates

When you join our early-access list, we save your name, email address, county, optional shop name, and the time and wording of your consent. We use these details to manage launch interest and send the email updates you requested. Our database and email providers process this information on our behalf. This does not create a customer account or sign you up for SMS messages.

To stop launch updates or ask us to remove your signup, email info@the1961supply.com. We also use a temporary hashed network identifier to limit abusive submissions; the signup system does not save your raw IP address.

Information we collect

• Business and contact details: name, barbershop name and address, phone number, email address.
• Account and order information: orders, deliveries, payments, balances and rewards.
• Communication preferences: how you want to receive updates (SMS, WhatsApp, email or in-app) and your preferred language (English or Spanish).
• Messages you send us, including replies to our texts.

How we use your information

• To process and deliver orders, record payments and manage your account.
• To send transactional messages you asked for: order confirmations, delivery and payment receipts, delivery changes and reminders.
• To answer your questions and replies through your assigned sales rep.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

Google Maps features

Our app uses Google Places for Shop and address searches, Google Address Validation to check addresses, and Google Maps Embed to display a map of a Shop location. Staff explicitly confirm the intended Shop location.

As staff search for or check an address, our server sends Google the Shop or address-search text, the selected place reference or address, a random search-session identifier, and language and region settings. These requests occur before staff confirm the intended Shop location.

When an embedded map loads, the browser sends Google the Shop's coordinates and technical information associated with map usage, such as an IP address, browser and device information, and the referring page address. Google also receives requests and interactions associated with use of the map.

We keep the staff-confirmed Shop address, Google's place reference, and a record of who confirmed the location and when. Google-provided Shop coordinates are cached temporarily and may be refreshed using the place reference.

These features concern Shop locations. They do not collect continuous GPS location or track people's movements.

Google processes this information under the Google Privacy Policy, including to provide and improve Google products and services.

Optional staff device location

With browser permission, the staff sales screen requests the device's current location to show and sort Shops by distance. This feature calculates distances in the browser and does not continuously track location. It does not send that device location in our Google address-search, address-validation or map-display requests.

SMS and WhatsApp

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages (such as our messaging provider) and only to deliver them. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run our service, including payment processing, sign-in, messaging (SMS, WhatsApp and email) and hosting. These providers may process your information only on our behalf.

Shopify also processes information under its own consumer privacy policy, and Google processes information under its own Privacy Policy for the Maps features described above. Their processing is not limited to acting on our behalf. Our SMS consent and mobile-information protections above continue to apply.

Your choices

• Change how we contact you at any time on your account's Messages screen.
• Reply STOP or BAJA to any text to stop SMS messages; reply START or ALTA to resume.
• Contact us to access, correct or delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information.
